Tian Siang Group was established in 1984 with the purchase of its first 1,000 acres in the cultivation of oil palm in District of Kinabatangan, Sabah and 70.6 acres of land for cultivation of durian in District of Larut & Matang, Perak.
In the early 1990s, the group invested aggressively in the oil palm plantation by acquiring new area within the same vicinity to achieve an acreage of more than 10,000 acres. Subsequently, it reaches an acreage of 15,000 acres of fully planted oil palm plantation.
