Company Background
Tian Siang - A name that symbolises righteousness and justice
The Company's name links to the history of China dating back to the 13th century with the notable character - Wen Tianxiang.
Wen Tianxiang (1236-1283), fell captive to the Yuen Army when he was the prime minister of the Sung Dynasty. Under the torturous enemy, Tianxiang upheld his belief in righteousness and justice. He remained loyal to the Sung Emperor and did not yield to the temptations of wealth and power nor threats and coercion of punishments and tortures. After his death in the hand of Yuen Emperor, Tianxiang became a highly respected figure in the history of China for his righteousness and belief in justice.
Adoring his high moral values and having the same middle name "Tian" as the Founder's family of the company, the name Tian Siang was hence adopted.
