Tian Siang Premium Auto opened the first BMW Motorrad dealership in Ipoh

BMW Group Malaysia and Tian Siang Premium Auto opened the first BMW Motorrad dealership in Ipoh, the fifth in the country, enabling customers to now enjoy the same premium level of service that are provided in other parts of the country.

Chief executive officer of BMW Group Malaysia, Dr. Gerhard Pils said that opening the showroom in Ipoh will enable them to serve their customers in the premium motorcycle segment in Ipoh.

“With the introduction of our latest BMW Motorrad showroom together with our partner, Tian Siang Premium Auto, we hope to further strengthen and enhance the BMW customer experience here by providing top-quality sales experiences and service facilities that comply with the stringent international-class standards and specifications that can be expected with the brands represented by the BMW Group,” he said.

He is also confident that Tian Siang Premium Auto is capable of taking BMW further and helping the brand and business grow significantly in Ipoh.

Dr. Pils considers the introduction of Tian Siang Motorrad Ipoh to BMW Malaysia’s network of dealerships an additional proof point to BMW’s performance in the country.

BMW recorded a total of 1,663 BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles delivered throughout the country in the first quarter of 2013, marking a 9.6 per cent growth against last year, with the Motorrad division growing by 64 per cent, delivering 95 motorcycles in the first quarter of the year.

The latest BMW Motorrad showroom is incorporated as part of Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh’s existing 4S BMW dealership, occupying a total built up space of 203m2.

The display area can showcase up to nine motorcycles at one time, along with some of the latest BMW Motorrad Lifestyle merchandise.

Managing director of Tian Siang Premium auto Tan Ka Kin said the opening of the showroom also marks another milestone for them as it signified another expansion for the Northern territory based BMW dealer in the premium automotive industry after establishing its 3S dealership in Butterworth in the third quarter of 2012.

Opening BMW 4S Centre In Butterworth 2013

BMW Group Malaysia recently launched its second 4S (sales, service, spare parts, and systems) dealership in Butterworth, Penang.

The Tian Siang Premium Auto BMW 4S centre occupies a total built up space of 23,000 square feet and is the first dealership in Malaysia to feature the latest standards and specifications set for BMW Group’s dealerships of the future.

The facility has the capacity of displaying up to eight vehicles with eight service bays, and houses a customer lounge with BMW’s latest “Isetta Bar”.

“Since establishing Tian Siang Premium Auto at Juru Autocity in 2010, we have already gone on to deliver over 350 BMWs in the area,” said Tan Ka Kin, managing director of Tian Siang Premium Auto Butterworth. “Our new BMW 4S facility here will see us extend our capabilities with the BMW Group to offer BMW Premium Selection in the future as well. With this new dealership we aim to increase our sales and service capabilities by 10 per cent over the coming year.”

TIAN SIANG HOLDINGS SDN BHD MAKES EARLY REDEMPTION OF BONDS

On 23 November 2006, MARC received confirmation from Malaysian Trustees Berhad that Tian Siang Holdings Sdn Bhd (Tian Siang) has made a full early redemption of its RM93 million nominal value coupon bearing serial bonds (Serial Bonds) on 22 November 2006. As such, MARC no longer has any rating obligation on the Serial Bonds and the A (A Flat) rating is hereby withdrawn.
