BMW Dealer Awards Night

Kuala Lumpur, 28th February 2013 – BMW Group Malaysia recently celebrated the organisation’s successful conclusion of its 2012 financial year with the BMW Dealer Awards Night. All authorized dealer company had been invited to join the Dealer Award Night. The gala evening served to honour the efforts of BMW’s dealership network, specifically top-performing dealers and individuals for their contribution in helping BMW Group surpass its targets for 2012 for all of its Malaysian business units – BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad.

Among all dealers participated, BMW Tian Siang Premium Auto exceeded and won several prestigious awards. Those awards include Champion in BMW Dealer Balance Score Card, Third Place in BMW Dealer Balance Score Card, Best Customer Satisfaction Index in Gold Category and many more. PRAI: BMW Group Malaysia recently launched its second BMW 4S (Sales, Service, Spare parts and Systems) dealership with its partner, Tian Siang Premium Auto Butterworth.

The new facility will cater to customers in the northern region. BMW Group Malaysia chief executive officer Dr Gerhard Pils said as of October this year, BMW Group Malaysia sold 5,611 vehicles from the BMW, MINI and Motorrad ranges in comparison with 4,658 vehicles sold in the same period the year before, which is an increase of 20.5 per cent.

Occupying a total built-up area of 2137 sq m, the new Tian Siang Premium Auto BMW 4S dealership is the first BMW dealership in the country to feature the latest standards and specifications for the BMW Group’s dealerships of the future.

The facility can display up to eight vehicles with eight service bays that offer comprehensive service and repair.

It also houses a customer lounge with BMW’s latest trademarked Isetta Bar, as well as rooms for sales discussions and meetings.

“The main objective of our new BMW 4S facility is to deliver a more than satisfactory premium BMW service to our customers even before they step into our showroom.

This is made possible by our team of highly-skilled professionals who will provide excellent service to our customers equal to that of any BMW 4S facility anywhere else in the world.” said Tan Ka Kin, the managing director of Tian Siang Premium Auto Butterworth.

GEORGE TOWN: BMW Group Malaysia is targeting to sell more than 6,000 BMW, MINI, and Motorrad vehicles this year.

Chief executive officer Dr Gerhard Pils said that as of October, BMW had sold 5,611 vehicles from the BMW, MINI and Motorrad range compared with 4,658 sold in the same period of 2011.

“In the northern region, we are targeting some 800 to 1,000 BMW vehicles over the next two years,” he said after the launch of the Tian Siang Premium BMW 4S dealership in Butterworth.

Pils said there would be two more new BMW 4S in Tebrau, Johor and Puchong, Kuala Lumpur, bringing the total BMW 4S centres in the country to 18 from 16 now.

“We are also targeting to establish showrooms in smaller town such as Miri next year to drive growth,” he added.

Tian Siang managing director Tan Ka Kin said the new BMW 4S facility here would see the extension of Tian Siang capabilities with the BMW Group to offer BMW Premium Selection in the future as well.

“With this new dealership, we are aiming for more than 10% increase in our sales and service capabilities in the coming year,” Tan said.

Occupying a total built-up area of 23,000 sq ft, the dealership is the first in the country to feature the latest standards and specifications set for the BMW group’s dealerships of the future.

The facility has the capacity to display up to eight vehicles with eight service bays that offer comprehensive service and repair as well as houses a customer lounge with BMW’s Isetta Bar, sales discussion rooms and meeting rooms.

In 2011, the BMW Group sold about 1.67 million cars and more than 113,000 motorcycles worldwide.
